Mount Fuji from Tanuki Lake
The other weekend when we were in Shizuoka, we also went to Tanuki Lake, near Miyako's parents house, which offers great views of Mount Fuji on a clear day.
Zoe, Simon: this is what you were missing when we stayed the overnight at the hotel on the lake and it was cloudy.....

Looks almost like a painting.
It does look kind of unreal...
Mt. Fuji is often like that. It has a special quality, very distinctive and on a clear day, an awesome sight.
