Is graffiti art or vandalism?
That word has a lot of negative connotations and it alienates people, so no, I don't like to use the word 'art' at all.

I would say it is only art if the person asks the owner of the property that is about to get "decorated" before he does it.
I have seen groups cover up grafiti with more grafiti, but it looks more like scenery, and brightens up the place. Then some idiot sprays over that. >_<
Yeah, I guess you're right, but I don't know who he should have asked before painting on the West Bank Wall....
Anyway I don't like graffiti, but some ugly buildings look worse than graffiti.
