Saw an article today on the bbc website about Japanese forecasters getting it wrong about the cherry blossom this year and the chaos & embarassment this has caused!

Thanks for the link. Yeah, the guy had to bow lots on TV to say sorry. They were only 3 days wrong and we still don't know the date 100% so I'm surprised there is so much fuss about it. I've got 2 Cherry Blossom parties planned anyway, so hopefully at least one day will coincide with lots of Sakura...
