Near our flat in Ariake, Tokyo, there is a huge pedestrian bridge that is always deserted. It offers great views at sunset and Kai enjoys the wide open space and the paintings like this one on the stone. More photos from the bridge
Yeah, where we live is pretty deserted all around. The government started building it during the bubble and when the crash came was left with lots of bridges, riverside areas, parks, etc, but no people. We like it though, so different from the centre of Tokyo...

Definitely. Makes it a quiet place. It would probably be a place I would go to for that reason.
